Women Empowerment
Growing up, I watched my mother work from home, lovingly handcrafting dresses for girls and selling them to expectant mothers and families preparing for special moments like First Communions and baptisms. That early exposure to the care, detail, and dignity of handmade work inspired my deep respect for craftsmanship—and planted the seed for what Amaya Accessories would become.
Today, that same spirit lives on in the community of women behind the brand. What began as a solo project in my home studio has grown into a collaborative network of women—many of them heads of household—who are passionate about their craft and committed to providing for their families through fair, dignified work.
Currently, our core team includes eight women artisans in Colombia, including single mothers who specialize in intricate Miyuki beadwork. We also collaborate with other female-led brands to co-design and develop exclusive pieces. Together, we share a vision of empowering women through creativity, skill, and economic opportunity.
At Amaya Accessories, every piece is more than just an accessory—it’s a symbol of resilience, sisterhood, and the power of handmade work to transform lives.
